How a lawyer works with it

Step by step.

  1. 1Upload a recording and confirm that everyone agreed to it.
  2. 2Press Transcribe, and wait. It is not real time.
  3. 3Name the speakers, with short sound clips to help.
  4. 4Read the transcript and the draft minutes.
  5. 5Edit, then Mark as final, and download Word.
What it can do

In the product's own terms.

  • Upload

Audio or video, up to 3 GB and 8 hours. For videos, only the sound is kept.

  • German and English

For Swiss and Liechtenstein dialect it promises minutes, not a word-for-word transcript.

  • A consent record

All participants agreed is required on the server, and the app stores who ticked it and when.

  • The raw transcript

Word for word, as recognised, and never changed. Play from here jumps to any word.

  • Speakers

Labels with sample sentences, speaking time and a 5-second clip. Two labels given the same name become one person.

  • Draft minutes

Decisions first, then a task table of who, what and by when, then topics and open questions. Each item has a source with quote, time and speaker.

  • Final, with versions

Final locks the minutes and keeps versions. Reopening keeps the old final. Every item shows if a person edited it.

  • Name check

On a button, the model suggests corrections from the firm's names list. Code keeps an edit only if the word is on the list.

What you get
  • A Word file and a copy button for the minutes
  • A transcript in Word, with a list of corrections
  • Versions of the final minutes
Where the data goes

On a firm's installation, audio, transcripts and minutes stay on the server.

  • An optional notice mail carries no meeting content, only that the meeting is ready and a link.
  • Voice prints are never written to disk.
  • Nothing is deleted automatically. The user decides.

Straight talk

What it doesnot do.

  • It is not real time, and there is no room device.
  • About 1 in 3 decisions and tasks still needs the lawyer's check.
  • Speakers are the weakest part. It does not recognise named voices.
  • The consent record is the firm's proof, not legal advice.

Shown in the trial as a staged sample. Your own recordings are not switched on.
