    How a lawyer works with it

    4. 4Click a citation. The document opens at the page, with the passage marked.

    What it can do

    In the product's own terms.

    • A live agent over the file

      It lists files, reads the relevant ones and searches their text. You see exactly which files it opened.

    • Citations checked by code

      A quote is anchored in a document by its longest verbatim run. A citation marker that no document backs is stripped from the answer.

    • Difficult files

      PDF, Word, Excel, images, text, .eml, .msg, PST mailboxes, .zip contents and attachments inside mail. A file it cannot read stays listed and says so.

    • OCR that escalates

      The text layer first, then tesseract, then a local vision model if the output is junk. Source files are never modified.

    • The search operators lawyers type

      Boolean, w/N, pre/N, wildcards and fuzzy matching. Müller finds Mueller and Muller. A date expands to its spellings.

    • Tasks across a whole set

      A question over every contract gives each document its own bounded run, and long jobs run to the end.

    • Word and PDF deliverables

      The agent writes a real Word file or PDF into the case, kept apart from the evidence and captioned as not case material.

    • Book Master

      A mode for law books: a case made only of law books gets answers with the article and the page. Off by default, set per case.

    On a firm's installation, no document, query, credential or model call leaves the server.

    • Case files stay on the server.
    • Derived data stays in a hidden folder inside each case.
    • The model runs on the same server.

    What it doesnot do.

    • It does not read every document for every question. A set task does that, per document.
    • Code strips a citation no document backs. It does not rewrite the sentence around it, so please check the answers.
    • It has no live Outlook connection. Audio and video in a case are not built.
